Selection criteria

1. Current study in an appropriate course in Museum Studies, Plant Science or Horticulture, or experience working in a museum, scientific institution or botanic garden.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian Flora, or knowledge of museum practices or collection management.
3. Ability to undertake botanical or collections based research and fieldwork.
4. Well developed verbal and communication skills.
5. Experience in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.
6. Well developed organisational, time management, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
