In 2013, staff at the Australian PlantBank ran short courses and tutorials for students from the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Agriculture and Environment and Macquarie University’s Advanced Biology degree. We have hosted work experience students and interns from universities and botanic gardens, and have Honours, Masters and Postgraduate students working with our researchers.
Australian Network for Plant Conservation courses
Staff of the Australian PlantBank have partnered with the Australian Network for Plant Conservation to present workshops on seed use for native vegetation restoration. Workshops are based on the technical guidelines edited by staff Cathy Offord and Patricia Meagher in 2009. Guidelines are available for purchase from the Australian Network for Plant Conservation.
