Cheryl Hodges

Cheryl was raised on a country property and developed a love of nature and art at an early age. Over the years she has undertaken studies in drawing, oils, calligraphy and photography. In 2000 she discovered her passion, botanical watercolour painting. Cheryl's style of painting has evolved over the years. She particularly enjoys painting natives, especially eucalypts, and has done many fruit studies.

Cheryl has completed numerous commissions and has won several awards in recent years. She has exhibited in the Botanica exhibition since 2005. She has also exhibited in the BASA exhibitions since 2004 and Canberra Botanical since 2003, with her paintings selected as the signature paintings for the exhibition in 2006 and 2009. Her works are held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
