A dwarf to medium shrub which does very well in cultivation. It needs moderately well-drained soils, a semi-shaded to full sun position and is frost hardy. Plants respond well to pruning or clipping and can be used as a low hedge. The highly aromatic foliage and pretty mauve flowers makes it a very decorative garden plant.
