Beverly Allen Art Master Classes
A three or four day botanical painting workshop for artists with some experience. With colour we will explore the light and shade, tone and form necessary to creat a three dimensional illusion on paper. We will analyse the layers of colour needed to depict a plant realistically, and learn techniques of colour mixing and application of washes. There will be an emphasis on the finer details that bring a painting to life and demonstrations of various techniques.
When: Thurs 13, Fri 14, Mon 17 & Tues 18 November, 9.30 am - 4 pm (book online)
