School holiday activities January 2010The three Gardens have a changing program of hands-on activities designed for children during the school holidays. Activities often cater for the whole family. Royal Botanic Gardens, SydneyA Passage to India ... lots and lots of lotuses!Inspired by the AGNSW exhibition 'Garden & Cosmos', the Botanic Gardens Trust has developed an Indian themed summer holiday program. Children will take a guided walk to see the lotus ponds in full bloom, make block prints using lotus seed pods and paint henna patterns on bamboo ‘paper’ or their hands and feet.
