NEW FOR 2013

Kate Nolan - Art Master Class

A master class in the art of painting insects.

The course aims to teach botanical art students how to add an insect into their botanical artworks, and/or how to portray an insect on its own. Inclusion of an insect as part of a botanical artwork distinguishes it considerably from the rest, and Kate will teach what sorts of insects to choose to complement one's artwork and how to include them. There are certain features insects have and the course teaches what to look for in this regard too, and why it is important to include those features. This class is a must for anyone planning to include insects in their botanical paintings.

Suitable for beginners to advanced students.
