Tess Mahar

Tess graduated from the Gordon Institute, Geelong, with a Diploma of Visual Art, being the recipient of the Director’s Award for life long learning. Tess commenced tuition in botanical art in 2006. Tess is currently being tutored by Dianne Emery at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.

Tess has exhibited her work at the Gordon Institute Geelong, Treasury Place Melbourne, and at The Art of Botanical Illustration, Melbourne, from 2006 to 2012 inclusive. In 2010 Tess was the recipient of the Celia Rosser Award Honourable Mention. Tess works in watercolour, pencil, oils and pastels, and is also a printmaker. Tess has work in private and public collections.
