Elizabeth Cooper
Prior to becoming a botanical artist Elizabeth studied French Language & Literature and then enjoyed a career as an editor and writer in book publishing and a researcher and writer in children’s television production.
Her works in graphite and watercolour have been seen at the BASA Annual Exhibition, Botanica and the Margaret Flockton Award in Sydney and in the Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition in Melbourne. Recognition of her work has resulted in her being awarded Highly Commended at the Margaret Flockton awards in 2004 & 2005 and winning the First Prize for Drawing at the BASA 2005 annual exhibition. She has contributed to the Victorian State Botanical Art Collection.
