Helen Eyre Pikler
Sydney-born Helen Eyre Pikler enjoyed a long and successful career as a commercial artist where she developed fine skills in highly detailed art work. She then spent some years with her husband retailing imported jewellery and studying and tutoring gemmology. Retirement provides the perfect opportunity to pursue her passion for detailed art work, this time in the field of botanical illustration where her early training is more than proving its worth. The recent opportunity to work on the new royal coach, the Britannica 2005, has been a fabulous highlight.
Helen’s works in watercolour, pastel, oil, acrylic & pencil have gained acclaim at her many exhibitions, winning 1st Prize BASA. Annual Exhibition 2003-6 and 1st Prize in Natives category, BASA Exhibition 2004. Collectors in UK, NY, Holland and the USA proudly count pieces of her work as part of their private collections.
