Susannah Blaxill

Susannah Blaxill began painting full time in 1985 and since then has exhibited prolifically in the UK, USA, Japan, Sweden, South Africa and Australia. She is internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading botanical artists specialising in watercolour, pencil and charcoal. She has had solo exhibitions in Australia and her work is treasured in private collections in the UK, Europe and Australia as well as in the public collection of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.

Susannah’s botanical art has featured extensively in Australian and International publications with it being seen in, amongst many others, The New York Times, The Economist (UK), The Sydney Morning Herald, The Weekend Australian, The Financial Review and in books on Botanical Illustration and Botanical Illustrators.
