Sylvia Beresford is an active artist in the Blue Mountains, following a career spanning catering and property development. She has also shown her work with both BASA and Botanica. She is a member of and has exhibited with both the Society of Mountain Artists and the Blackheath Art Society.

Her work features in private collections in Australia, Canada, USA, France, the UK and Sweden.
