Do you enjoy our Botanic Gardens?Our Gardens include the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mount Annan Botanic Garden, our native garden in south-west Sydney, and Mount Tomah Botanic Garden in the Blue Mountains. Maybe you value the three Gardens as rich sources of knowledge about the world’s plants. Perhaps you just enjoy the green open spaces, and want to preserve them. By joining the Friends you become part of the valued support group that helps protect some of the world’s great botanic gardens. Special projectsThe Friends raise funds for an amazing range of projects that improve the Gardens and enable important scientific research. Projects include research into the Wollemi Pine, creating the Rare and Threatened Plants gardens, and upgrading historic buildings in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Waratah membersWaratah members choose to make an annual tax-deductible donation on top of their membership fee.
