Garden Safari - an adventure in food and nature
On the hunt for edible plants! Use the map to find the eight safari stops, answer the quiz questions, unravel the riddle and claim your edible plant prize!
When: Every day until Sunday 1 June
Where: Around the Garden. Kits available from the Garden Shop
Cost: $5. Suitable for children aged 6-12 years
Wild!Rhino Sculpture Trail
The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney will be hosting two wild rhino sculptures as part of Taronga Wild! Rhinos. The project will create a spectacular world-class sculpture trail from the Sydney Harbour foreshore through the Blue Mountains to Dubbo and the Central West region of NSW. There will a trail map and mobile app detailing each sculpture location. The mobile app will incorporate a quest and offer for the two wild rhinos in the Garden, which can be redeemed at the Garden Shop.
When: Saturday 1 February to Sunday 27 April, Garden opening times

Journey of the Seed
How do plants grow? Pick up a map and activity kit from the Gardenís Visitor Centre and follow the self-guided trail to the Australian PlantBank. Enjoy fun activities along the way to discover the magical hidden world of seeds, complete the quiz and win a prize!
When: Available Monday to Friday 10 am to 4.30 pm

Make decorative Easter eggs to keep or give as gifts! Experiment with plant dyes, using flowers and leaves to create beautiful coloured patterns. Suitable for children aged 6-13 years.
