Weeds
What is a ‘weed’?
We use the term ‘weed’ often - in the garden, on the farm, in the bush - but exact definition of what is a 'weed’ depends on those contexts.
A brief overall definition is that a weed is a plant species growing either in a human-use system where it is not wanted (agriculture, gardens), or in a natural system to which it is not native.
