The scope of our science activities can best be described by looking at our work on the Wollemi Pine. The Wollemi Pine - or �dinosaur tree� - is certainly one of the greatest botanical discoveries of our time. Of course, our science program includes much more than this - anything from algae to corpse flowers, from conservation genetics to a virtual herbarium!

Evolutionary Ecology research - our ecologists study, describe and map the natural vegetation communities across New South Wales
