Prostrate perennial herb to 20 cm, with sparsely hairy stems especially at the nodes. Longevity 2 - 5 years.

Flowers: Inflorescence globose to ovoid. To date only recorded in March.

Fruit: Indehiscent, compressed containing one seed.
