Flowers: White, January - May.

Fruit: Achene 0.8 mm long with pappus bristles 2 mm long, March - August.

Seed: Wind dispersed.

Ecology

• Woodland habitat in open sites.
• Rare in woodland at the Australian Botanic Garden, localised, less than 5 plants.
• Plants failed to set seed 2004 - 2006, possibly due to small population size.
