Sticky Cassinia

Sticky shrub to 3 m high.

Flowers: White - straw coloured, March.

Fruit: Achene 0.6 mm long with pappus of bristles 2 mm long.

Seed: Wind dispersed.

  • Woodland habitat, colonises  recently cleared or disturbed  bushland sites.
  • Rare in woodland at the Australian Botanic Garden. Limited to less than 5 plants.
  • Viable seed not collected at the Australian Botanic Garden possibly due to small population size.
