Flowers: Pink, mauve, purple, October – February.

Fruit: Dehiscent capsule containing 20 – 30 seeds, February – April.

Seed: Dispersed by mud eg on cars

Ecology

• Moist habitats, creekbanks, gutters and pond edges
• Rare around lakes at the Australian Botanic Garden, in ephemeral wet zone.
