Erect or ascending hairy herb, with branches to 40 cm long, leaves 3-foliate. Longevity less than 1 year.

Flowers: White or pink, October – June.

Fruit: Pod 1 – 1.5 mm long.

Seed: One seed per fruit. No specialized dispersal mechanism. Soil stored seedbank.
