Tufted Bluebell

Tufted perennial herb 5–75 cm high, with thickened taproot. Longevity up to 5 years.

Flowers: Blue, October - April. Flowers open in afternoons and closed mornings.

Fruit: Capsule, 4–9 mm long with numerous seeds.

Seed: Oval, red-brown, 0.5 mm long. Probably locally dispersed.
