Individual giving
Why we need your help
The Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust plays an important role in conserving plants and their habitats. We invite you to share our aspirations and help protect the natural world. Our vital work would not be possible without your support.
We would be so grateful if you chose to help.
How you can help
Trees are the backbone of our ecological systems. Fostering a tree for a year is a wonderful way to help to protect the environment whilst making a unique gift. Choose your favourite tree in our botanic gardens and receive a certificate of foster care. A tree may be fostered for a donation of $200.
'A single tree will absorb one tonne of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. Help protect our plants and planet for the future by Fostering a Tree in one of our beautiful Botanic Gardens!' Jamie Durie
If you are interested in Fostering a Tree please call our Development Section on (02) 9231 8022 or Dimi Rayner on (02) 9231 8303.

Dedicating one of our elegant benches is a wonderful way to experience a unique connection with the Gardens. The beautiful inscriptions bring life to memories, celebrations and tributes and add a lovely sentiment to the fabric of our Gardens. Benches are dedicated for a period of 10 years. The donation for a bench dedication is $10,000 in the Royal Botanic Garden and $4,000 in the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.
If you are interested in Dedicating a Bench please call our Development Section on (02) 9231 8022 or Dimi Rayner on (02) 9231 8303.
Whether you choose to plant a young tree, selected for its botanical significance or to become the guardian of one of our existing grand old trees, your gift will form a lasting feature of the landscape to be enjoyed now and by future generations.
A tree can be adopted for its full life with a donation of $10,000. Your generosity will be acknowledged in many ways, including a dedication plaque, certificate of adoption and photograph.
