The historic Palm House in the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney will host the touring exhibition of the prestigious International Garden Photographer of the Year this March (Sat 1 - Sun 9). Foundation & Friends raises funds for an amazing range of projects that improve the Gardens and enable important scientific research. Projects include supporting PlantBank, research into the Wollemi pine, creating the Rare and Threatened Plants gardens, and upgrading historic buildings in the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney.
Events - Talks, workshops, bushwalks, special events, plant and book sales, and tours - are an enjoyable way to discover more about plants and gardens. And they're a great way to meet other garden lovers.
NYE in the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney - the Garden is closed to the public on New Year's Eve but Foundation & Friends' members can purchase tickets for themselves and their guests to a family-friendly picnic in the Garden. The Mare and Foal Lawn on Farm Cove provides a great view of the fireworks. Bring your own picnic, however no sharp knives or glass are allowed to be brought in. Tickets are not available on the night. All bookings must be made by members.
