Botanical Art is for me a beautiful way of expressing my love and awe of the plant world. I never cease to admire a new tree or shrub that was not noticed before, you start to look at this green world with very different eyes.

But just being able to paint is certainly not enough, you are also required to describe the plant or tree, in all the details that are significant to that particular species, and that can take a considerable amount of time and research.

My background in Textile Design is always of great benefit, as it helps with composition It is never the less always nice to create a new piece of Art , and better still to see it admired by others.
