Melinda EdsteinMelinda Edstein was born and raised in Sydney. She studied veterinary science at Sydney University and worked as a small animal vet full time and then part time while raising her four children. Combining her interest in drawing with her scientific background, in 2008 she began botanical illustration lessons with Barbara Duckworth at the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney. Melinda exhibited in the 2010 Botanica, 2010 and 2011 Canberra Botanical, and 2011 BASA exhibition.
