Marion WestmacottLiving and working on cattle and sheep stations across Australia, Marion developed her skill in botanical art illustrating local native species and working with agronomists collecting and illustrating problem weed species. The quality and spirit of Marion’s work has seen her commissioned for many pieces by a large range of organisations. She has completed commissions for, amongst others, Australian Geographic, Cattai Catchment Management, Environment Australia for Centenary of Federation and the Australian National Botanic Garden. As well as working in architectural, scientific and engineering drafting, Marion has also been a teacher of Botanical and Natural History Illustration. Her work forms a part of the Shirley Sherwood Collection and is also included in numerous private collections. |
