Richard Raffan
'During 1970, I began turning wood. After four months in a small production workshop, I established my own studio. I am largely self-taught as a wood turner, having created my own apprenticeship. I emigrated from England to Australia in 1982.
I have work in many public and private collections including: British Crafts Council, London; New Parliament House and National Gallery Collections, Canberra; the Power House Museum, Sydney and the Victorian State Craft Collection, Melbourne.'
