Foster a Tree

By fostering a tree in your favourite botanic garden, you can help nurture our living collection and support our conservation work.

A tree may be fostered for one year with a tax deductible donation of $200. Your generosity will be acknowledged with a personalised certificate of foster care.

'A single tree will absorb one tonne of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. Help protect our plants and planet for the future by Fostering a Tree in one of our beautiful Botanic Gardens!'  Jamie Durie

Dedicate a Hoop Pine at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan

Hoop pine trees (Araucaria cunninghamii) line the new Narellan Road entrance to the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan.

You can leave your legacy by dedicating one of these hoop pine trees for the life of the tree. These trees grow up to 60 metres and live up to 450 years. Your dedication will become part of the history of the Macarthur region and will shape the landscape of the Garden.

These native trees can be dedicated for a tax deductible donation of $2,500.

Your generosity will be acknowledged with a cast bronze plaque with the name of the individual or organisation the tree is dedicated to and a certificate of dedication. You will also receive an invitation to the official opening of the entrance.

If you are interested in dedicating a hoop pine at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan, please call Belinda Howell on (02) 4634 7903 or email belinda.howell@rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au.
