Most areas of the Royal Botanic Garden are wheelchair accessible, other than the steep paths and stairs. Accessible routes and toilets in the Garden are signposted and shown on the map.

Most areas of the Domain are wheelchair accessible, other than the steep paths and stairs. There are two accessible routes linking the Domain to Woolloomooloo on the eastern side (one opposite the Woolloomooloo Gate,  the other on the southern side of the Art Gallery of NSW, both paths indicated by symbols on map).

Special bays are provided near the Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.

• To arrange disabled parking outside the Art Gallery of NSW for Sydney Festival events in the Domain phone 9235 3733.
• Designated wheelchair spaces for Festival events in the Domain are usually located near Tower 7 - security staff will direct you to this area.

All Theme Gardens and designated picnic areas, apart from the Terrace Garden, Sundial Hill and the Wedding Knot, are wheelchair accessible. Accessible routes and toilets are signposted.

Accessible parking spaces are allocated in the main carpark and at each of the picnic areas.

While the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden is on a steep site most of the paths are accessible. Steps have only  been placed at the entrance to paths which are not able to made accessible. Also all accessible routes are marked with signage.

The Garden has a shuttle with a wheel chair lift offering both rides from the bottom back to the Visitor Centre and for those not able to navigate the path system a driven tour of the Garden. 

The toilets at the Garden are wheelchair accessible.
