Risk Management

A preliminary Risk Management Plan has been developed in accordance with Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4360:2004 and is available on request.

Risk Management Approach

Within the overall timeframe for the project, there are a number of hold-points at which the Trust can determine whether or not it has raised sufficient funds to proceed to the next stage. These include the end key phases of the project. Under the proposed approach, each of the successive design phases will align with a review of the Cost Plan. At each of these hold points the Trust will review pledged financial commitments and risks. The risk impact of deferring the commencement of the subsequent project stage will be inefficiency and risk of additional cost. This added cost will be assessed in light of the risks associated with not securing sufficient funds.
