New Garden Pavilion at the Australian Botanic Garden

This beautifully designed, modern pavilion is a welcome addition to the suite of visitor amenities on offer at Australia’s largest Botanic Garden. This new facility was funded by AGL Energy Limited and built in partnership with the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan. The building has an interesting design and use of materials. Of note are the recycled plastic composite screens, the water tanks retrofitted with toilets and the positioning of the structure to allow a degree of privacy for users. The pavilion’s location also allows for natural amphitheatres in the landscape, and of course, a stunning view across the Garden.

The pavilion can accommodate up to 200 people, offers BBQ and toilet facilities and is now available for visitors to enjoy. It can also be hired for private functions and special occasions. For further information, please contact the Visitor Centre on 4634 7935.
