Landcom Carols in the GardenGarden sets the stage for festive cheerThe Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan will once again host the Landcom Carols in the Garden event, with all the trimmings. The evening will feature a captivating program of song, dance, theatre and music to bring festive cheer to the Macarthur region on Saturday 15 December. The program starts at 5.30 pm and features Commotion School of Dance, Camden Community Band, the Santa’s Got Soul stage show and the Annan Spectacular carollers accompanied by a 7-piece band. The kids will delight in The Lorax: Speak for the Trees stage show with its loveable characters and important messages. Held on Lakeside with spectacular views, there will be plenty of food, coffee and ice-cream stalls to choose from. Or if you prefer, bring a picnic and relax with all your favourite carols. A very special guest will also be making an appearance on the night! The evening culminates in a fantastic finale and fireworks display. Garden Director Caz McCallum said 'Landcom Carols in the Garden is a great way to celebrate the festive season. With a variety of perfomers and all your favourite Carols, especially for the children, it is an event not to be missed.' This is a free community event, proudly brought to you by the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan and Landcom. Entry is via Narellan Road and the Mount Annan Drive entrance will be also in operation on the evening from 5 pm. For further information contact 4634 7935. Note that parking is limited on site, we do encourage you to car pool where possible. We hope you have a fabulous night here at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan, to celebrate the festive season. |
