Sydney Swings

Open air picnic concert series. Concerts include:

- Sunday 11 November: Grace Knight

- Saturday 17 November: The Harry James Angus Band

The concert lawn is all unreserved picnic style, so picnic blankets, rugs are recommended. Personal chairs are welcome but tall director style chairs will be restricted to the rear of the lawn. BYO picnic and wine or a variety of hot and cold food, espresso coffees, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, confectionary and ice creams will be available to purchase at the concert.
Please note we have a responsible drinking policy. Management reserves the right to confiscate alcoholic items if consumption is becoming excessive and beyond a responsible level.
There is no seating provided on the lawn. You can choose to bring your own rug or personal chair.
There is no dress code, but we recommend being an outdoor event that you dress comfortably and be prepared for all weather conditions.
When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 November 2012, Fridays and Saturdays: gates open 6 pm, concert 7.30 pm-9.30 pm (20 min interval); Sundays: gates open 5 pm, concert 6 pm - 8 pm (20 min interval)
Where: Sydney Swings will be held on the lawn at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquarie’s Point, the Royal Botanic Garden adjacent to the Harbour’s edge (the same location where open air cinema and opera on the harbour is staged). The concert stage will be built on the northern end of the lawn, facing south. Produced by 4D International who stage the sell out Twilight at Taronga Concert Series.
Cost: Adults: $59, Concessions: $54, Groups 10+: $54, Juniors (12-18 years): $49, Children (4-11 years): $39, Kids under 4 are free. Members of the Foundation & Friends receive a 10% discount. Ticketing Prices and/or Registration Details Tickets are all unreserved / picnic style. When you arrive, you can choose any spot available on the concert lawn to sit and place out your picnic.
