Native Plants Mixed Pack
These beautiful images, captured by our own Gardens in Focus head judge Chris Jones, were taken in the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan and offer a rare perspective on these flowers.
This pack includes two designs. The delicate flower of the wallum (Banksia aemula). The second features the cliff net bush (Calothamnus rupestris), a native of Western Australia. Proceeds from the sale of these cards go to support the work of Foundation & Friends.
This pack of ten (10) blank cards is available for $18 including postage and handling or directly from the Foundation & Friends Cottage for $15.
'Blue Collection' Cards
Inspired by the clear blue flowers of the Himalayan Poppy, which was the signature image for Botanica 2010, we released a range of merchandise. This stunning mixed pack of 10 cards has five cards of the watercolour painting of Meconopsis horridula, by Tricia Oktober, and five cards featuring the luscious painting of Iris 'Black Taffeta', by Barbara Duckworth.
The Botanic Gardens 'Blue Collection' Cards are available in packs of Ten (10) for $13 including postage and handling or directly the Foundation & Friends Cottage for $15.
30th Anniversary Limited Edition Charlotte Thodey Print - From Small Things Big Things Grow
Celebrate 30 years of the Foundation & Friends with a limited edition Charlotte Thodey print. Each one is personally signed and comes with your very own souvenir card telling the story of our seed collections.
The painting’s seed boxes were made for the Gardens as early as the 1890’s. Joseph Henry Maiden (Director 1896-1924) had these made specifically to show seeds for display in the Museum but also to store in the Herbarium.
The painting symbolises the Gardens’ first seed collections, links to our current seed collecting and looks forward towards a new era of plant conservation at PlantBank, our soon-to-be-built plant conservation centre. It reminds us how from small things big things grow.
Mounted print size 40 x 42.5 cm (actual print size 23 x 27 cm)
Mounted limited edition print $165 inc GST, postage and handling or for $150 inc GST if picked up from the Foundation & Friends Cottage.
