I have found botanical art complex, challenging and rewarding. There is beauty in all aspects of plant life from the seeds to the buds, flowers and leaves. Specimens in a dried form can also have a beauty of their own.

I use watercolour where the detail and clarity of image can be achieved. I continue to explore all aspects of botanical art in an attempt to develop my own technique. There is so much enjoyment in the whole process from
selecting a specimen to the final stroke. It can be all-absorbing and this adds to the satisfaction one can achieve by devoting time to this form of art.
