The Domain has a range of open spaces suitable for casual sport bookings conveniently located in the Sydney CBD. We can accommodate many different activities from a peaceful yoga session under a graceful Moreton Bay Fig to a social game of soccer in the Domain. 

During the year playing fields in the Domain may be hired at reasonable hourly rates. Due to the high demand for open green spaces, the Royal Botanic Garden & Domain Trust cannot always maintain turf condition at an optimal level. At times, sections of turf in the Domain will be closed for restoration.

Please note that no ball sports are permitted within the boundaries of the Royal Botanic Garden and no bat and ball sports are permitted in the Domain (i.e. cricket, hockey etc.).
