Wedding Ceremony & Photography Locations
The Royal Botanic Garden has many beautiful areas available for hire for Wedding Ceremonies and Photography. Choose between lawns with spectacular harbour views, specialty gardens, or one of our historic lodges and pavilions. Your wedding ceremony permit allows two hours lawn hire and also gives you permission to carry out professional wedding photography throughout the Garden and Domain. Wedding Photography permits are also available separately if you are holding your ceremony elsewhere.
Listed below are various locations most commonly used for wedding ceremonies and photography. We welcome bookings for most areas so please let us know if you have a special attachment to, or preference for another area of the Garden not listed below.

Lawns with Spectacular City & Harbour Views Enjoy glistening water views across Sydney Harbour by selecting one of these spectacular locations. Shady heritage trees, expansive lawns and colourful gardens frame the breathtaking harbour views, the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. |

Specialty Gardens Create your own unique wedding style by choosing one of our themed speciality gardens. You will be spoilt for choice when you experience the Asian flair of the Oriental Garden, the charm of the manicured Herb Garden or the romance of the sunken Pioneer Garden. |

Garden Pavilions Celebrate in style at one of our historic garden pavilions with spacious adjoining lawns. The sandstone pavilions provide you with an undercover area featuring built-in bench seating and paved stone floors. |
