Benefits of supporting the Foundation - for individuals, foundations and companies

Becoming a Benefactor of the Foundation provides a unique opportunity for you to be involved in the history, heritage, science and culture of the Botanic Gardens leading up to our Botanic Bicentenary in 2016.

Individuals, companies and philanthropic trusts are recognised as Benefactors within the Fellowship program. Supporters of the Foundation are also recognised for their generous gifts of < $5,000.

In appreciation for your generosity, Benefactors will enjoy

  • a close and fulfilling association with our three Botanic Gardens
  • invitations to special events, to talks and viewings of our various collections, behind-the-scenes tours with the Director or our scientists, horticulturists or other specialist staff
  • being kept informed of the rare and special bloomings and happenings at our Gardens
  • access to facilities
  • being listed with other Benefactors on the Honour Board, Trust website, Foundation Annual Report and Botanic Gardens Trust Annual Report.
  • the quiet satisfaction of knowing that you have made significant contribution to visitor enjoyment, to scientific knowledge and application, conservation of our environment, and assisting communities in need.
