- Dreaming stories of the Dharawal
- Speaking Dharawal language
- A guided walk on the Terrace Garden exploring bush tucker and medicinal plants
- A slide show of plants used for food, tools and weapons
- A guided walk to Lakeside or the woodland discussing hunting and gathering as well as birds and their place in Aboriginal culture
Wet and Dry Environments (HSIE, S&T)
- Investigate special features of native plants for surviving in a dry environment on the terrace garden
- Dip netting and bird watching at Lakeside to discover special adaptations for survival in a wet environment
- Investigate Aboriginal use of plants from wet and dry environments.
