The Australian Gardens ExperienceLeaving Sydney it’s a quick trip out to Mount Annan Botanic Garden nestled in the rural countryside of historic Camden. The Garden itself is the largest botanic garden in Australia at over 400 hectares in size. Once there, enjoy the stunning Australian flora on display whilst our knowledgeable guides inform you of the history of the site*. Keep your eyes peeled to see the native wildlife, including wallabies and kangaroos, that call the Garden home. Before enjoying a sumptuous lunch in the award-winning Gardens Restaurant, our tour finishes with a tour of the bush foods garden and a visit to the Gardens Shop where you will find all your Australiana souvenir needs for gifts to take home to family and friends. Hop back on your coach for a short 75 minute journey out to Mount Annan’s sister Garden, Mount Tomah Botanic Garden. Mount Tomah Botanic Garden is located in the World Heritage listed Greater Blue Mountains area atop a basalt capped peak. At 1000 metres above sea level, the Garden is home to the Botanic Garden Trust’s collection of cool climate plants from around the world. Learn about the abundant native wildlife in the Garden as our guide takes you on the Australian Plants & Birds Tour#.
