Mount Tomah Botanic Garden LOGO Guidelines

The Botanic Gardens Trust logos must be used in accordance with the following guidelines:

Logo colour options

Must be either black-and-white or red PMS 194 (or CMYK equivalent)
To be used in reverse only in colour (CMYK), not B&W
Other colours not to be used
Not to be faded off

Size of logo relative to name

Logo must be kept intact - i.e. no separation of the graphic and text (company name)
Logo pictogram graphic must not be less than 8 mm in height.

Software required

Note that you will need the relevant software - such as Photoshop or Illustrator - to open a logo.
To insert a logo into a Word document, copy the logo file to your desktop (right click and choose ‘save target as’), then from within your Word document choose ‘insert picture from file’.

Logo formats available to download

Left aligned or stacked
Black & White, CMYK (four colour), or reverse
In .eps or .tif or format

Eps files

Suitable for desktop and professional printing

Can be scaled to any size without loss of quality

May not be importable by all programs

After downloading, rename .ps to .eps ending before use

May look 'jaggy' on screen, but will print fine

If loading into Photoshop, open up at 300 dpi at final printing size

Tif files

Suitable for desktop printing (for professional printing, use eps)

Can be used at 100% or smaller (never use larger than 100% as will reduce quality)

Resolution at 100% is 300 dpi

Importable by most programs

May look 'jaggy' on screen, but will print fine

Approval process

Material incorporating the Botanic Gardens Trust logo must be submitted to The Trust for sign-off prior to printing. Please allow 7 days for this process.

Botanic Gardens Trust name must never be abbreviated in editorial or copy.
