Sydney Opera House forecourt works - entry to the Royal Botanic Garden
During construction of a new underground loading dock and stage door facility at the Sydney Opera House during 2011, a major stormwater drain will be diverted to a point between the Man O' War Steps and the QEII Gates.
Visitors will be able to enter and exit the Royal Botanic Garden throughout the works, however during the first stage of the project, from February to late April, access will be via 6-metre wide walkways with hoarding. During the second stage of the works, between May and September 2011, both entrances to the Garden will be clear and visible. The work will continue until late 2012. We apologise for any inconvenience.
