This hybrid between the erect, blue-green form of G. bipinnatifida and G. banksii 'Forsters' was raised from seed collected at a nursery near Campbelltown, New South Wales. It was heavily promoted as Grevillea ‘Ned Kelly’ and is widely available from commercial nurseries.
