Occurs naturally on the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa on coastal sand dunes. The flowers are not dead - they are this colour for most of their life! This plant needs to be grown in a light, well-drained soil in full sun and some pruning is necessary to keep the plant shapely. Previously known as Salvia aurea. |
