Marquee Sites

Home to some of the most spectacular views in Sydney, the Royal Botanic Gardens is the perfect location for your next truly memorable marquee event. The choice between our three breathtaking sites - Fleet Steps, Bennelong Lawn, or our newly refurbished Rose Garden - is often a difficult one to make. While Bennelong Lawn and Fleet Steps offer unobstructed views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, the Rose Garden boasts an easterly aspect across the Gardens, and all have rich history amongst the impressively manicured landscape surrounds.

Fleet Steps

Fleet Steps is the largest of the Gardens' three marquee sites. It is located along the sea wall and looks out across farm cove in Sydney Harbour. Adding to this view is the greenery of the Royal Botanic Gardens set against the backdrop of the magnificent city skyline.

Night-opera

Bennelong Lawn

Bennelong Lawn is the more intimate of our marquee sites, tucked discretely within the gates of the Royal Botanic Gardens, just above the Sydney Opera House forecourt. From a different perspective, this site looks over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House towards North Sydney and Luna Park.

Rose-Garden-function

Rose Garden

 The newly refurbished Rose Garden offers a marquee space surrounded by an abundance of various types of roses. This romantic setting has an easterly aspect, overlooking the greenery of the Royal Botanic Gardens and, beyond that, glimpses of the Harbour. The practicalities of permanent toilet and kitchenette facilities make the Rose Garden a fabulous choice for your special marquee event.
