Please note that the Botanic Gardens Restaurant will be closed for roof repairs commencing Monday 25 May. The area around the building will be fenced off and scaffolding erected. Work is expected to be completed around the end of June 2009. The Restaurant will be closed during this time but the Cafe underneath will continue to operate. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Situated in the heart of the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Botanic Gardens Restaurant & Cafe is a stunning venue surrounded by tropical rainforest and boasting wide verandahs that overlook Sydney Harbour. The newly refurbished Restaurant is open from 12 noon daily and for brunch on weekends. It offers two private dining rooms and is available for corporate and private events. The Restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Botanic Gardens Cafe
Beneath the Restaurant, set among the trees and overlooking the duck pond, is the Gardens Cafe. It offers a casual alternative for breakfast or lunch. Gourmet sandwiches, salads and pastas are available as well as coffee and ice-cream. Open 8.30 am – 4.30 pm daily. The Cafe is wheelchair accessible.
