Musica Viva in the Garden

A collaborative learning event with Musica Viva and The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Live Music, Workshops, Nature

Join us in Term 3 at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for a full day musical exploration of Sustainability (cross curriculum priority), combining the learning areas of music, drama and storytelling, science and environmental education.
Botanic Garden educators will take you on a discovery of natural ecosystems, where you’ll as you plant a seed, follow a seed’s journey and create ephemeral plant artworks.
Musica Viva In Schools’ eclectic rock band ‘Zeeko’ will then transport you across the earth’s ecosystems, performing live music featuring a range of instruments and music styles.
Then get creative in a range of workshops led by the musicians in the gardens!
