Important information for planning your visit

  • We can accommodate up to 90 students per session.

  • Our educator to student ratio is 1:30. Classes >30 will be split into 30 or less. Please bring adequate supervision to meet this ratio.

  • The bus drop off and pick up location is at the Woolloomooloo Gate on Mrs Macquaries Road. Refer to the Getting Here section above for more information about transport.

  • Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for a snack, a visit to restrooms and to store bags.

  • The meeting point is at the Learning Centre, to the right as you enter the Woolloomooloo Gate. Our educators will meet you outside, please wait at the ‘meet here’ sign.

  • Our educators will lead your session, but duty of care and behaviour management remains the class teacher’s responsibility.

  • The lesson is a focused learning experience. Students will be more engaged if they have participated in relevant pre-excursion activities.

  • Adult helpers will be an asset if they are assigned roles before the lesson.

  • Teachers and assisting adults are free of charge.
