The event site is approximately 900 metres or a 15-minute walk from the entry gate on Art Gallery Road. Pathways are sealed and there is a moderate slope to negotiate.

Ticket holders will be provided with an option to book mobility assistance if required.

Q: What time is the event?
Gates open at 6.30 pm with last entry at 8.30 pm. The event finishes at 1 am, with last drinks served at 12.00am.

The Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust reserves the right to confiscate any restricted items and/or refuse entry to any persons not complying with Conditions of Entry.

Q: What entertainment is at the event?
Midnight at the Oasis features a live band and a DJ who will provide a range of crowd pleasers for young and old to get you on the dance floor. Patrons will hear the synchronized fireworks music broadcast.

Q: What time are the fireworks? And what view will I have?
There are two fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve - at 9.00 pm and at midnight. Both displays are synchronised to music which is broadcast at the event.
There are panoramic views of the harbour from this event site and tiered grandstand seating is available to all patrons for viewing the fireworks. Some dining tables have partially restricted views due to low lying tree canopies and event structures.

Q: What are the seating arrangements?
Midnight at the Oasis offers communal reserved tables with configurations of 4, 6 or 8 seats. Please note, it is likely that you will share your table with other guests unless you choose to purchase an entire table.

A small number of tables have partially restricted views due to the position of trees or fixed structures. These areas are noted on the seating map at the point of purchase on our ticketing site.

Please also note that some tables have backless bench seating.

There is access to a tiered grandstand for uninterrupted panoramic views of the harbour for the fireworks. The grandstand is accessed via steps and is not wheelchair accessible. There are however many areas across the site on ground level where the celebrations on Sydney Harbour can be viewed and enjoyed.

Ticket holders will be provided with an option to book mobility assistance if required.
